Fall Family Photo Season is right around the corner, and Lark Livingston Photography is gearing up for some really fun photo shoots here in Birmingham, Alabama! Today I am sharing one of the cutest families from one of my fall sessions last year. This mom and dad, brother and sister came dressed so well and were completely adorable! We took these photos in Chace Lake Park in Hoover, Alabama- which is one of my favorite spots because the afternoon lighting is so pretty. And I love a wide open field with lots of sky.

Best Time of Day for Photos

The time of day that you schedule your fall photos will make a big difference in how your images turn out. In the fall, dusk and dawn lights are warm, soft and free of overly bright highlights, direct sun and dark shadows. This will give your images a glowy golden hue- which always leads to my most favorite sessions of all!

Why are Family Photos Important?

Years fly by so fast and kids change so quickly! Documenting your family through the years will give you something invaluable later. Having a professional photographer allows you the opportunity to be in the photos interacting with your kids and your whole family will love looking back on those memories. I promise you won’t regret it!
