What is a Mini Session?
A Mini Session is a small version of a regular photography session. It is a shorter time slot, with a discounted price. Mini Sessions are only offered on specific dates at one location. The photographer chooses the date and location, and families will sign up for a time slot to have their photos taken.
Advantages of a Mini Session
The biggest perk of a Mini Session is the discounted price. Because the photographer can photograph multiple families back to back on the day of the Mini Session, they can offer a smaller price for the the session. Some families prefer a shorter, fast paced photo session (especially Dads and tiny kids!). Even though the shooting time of your photo session is shorter, with an experienced photographer, you can still get a large variety of photos to choose from in your final gallery.
Disadvantages of a Mini Session
While some families prefer the shorter photo shoot, others would rather not rush and have more time to pull out everyones true personality. A Mini Session typically includes a small number of images in the price. While a regular photo session includes a full gallery of images in the price. Mini sessions for immediate family members and can not accommodate an extended family session due to time.
Is a Mini Session the right choice for your family?
If you typically update your family photos each year, a Mini Session is a quick way to get a few professional photos at a discounted price. This may be a great fit for your family! If it’s been a while since your last photo shoot, or your family is celebrating a milestone (new baby, high school senior, extended family, etc…), I would recommend a regular photo session. If this is the case, you will probably want a full gallery of images and more shooting time.

A 10-20 minute time slot, your choice of 5 images to keep, discounted price of $195.

My Mini Sessions are always announced first to my VIP List. Because I only offer Mini’s a couple of times a year, they often fill up just from my VIP List and are never advertised to the public. You simply choose your time slot and follow the prompts to save your spot.
