There’s something special about coming back to the same photographer year after year. It’s more than just booking a time slot and getting some photos taken- it’s building a relationship. When your family knows what to expect and I know your family, everything just feels easier.
The first time we work together, our kids are getting used to me, I’m learning their personalities, and we’re figuring out the pace that works best. But the next time? They show up already knowing we’ll play a little, laugh a lot, and take breaks when needed. They know I’m not here to make them sit perfectly still or smile on command. I’m here to capture them just as they are. And the more relaxed your kiddos are, the better the images turn out!
Choosing the same photographer each year also tells the story of your family in a way that feels consistent. The style, the editing, the way I guide you into natural moments- all of it stays familiar. Your gallery from this year will feel like a true continuation of last year, and the year before that. When you look back years from now, you’ll see the story of your family growing, season by season in a seamless way.
One of my favorite parts of this job is watching my repeat families grow and change. The baby who slept through out first session is suddenly running around the field. The toddler who hid behind mom’s leg is now proudly showing me their favorite rock. I get to notice the small things. A new tooth, longer curls, a new personality starting to shine. And you get to remember those things!
