This senior session was a little extra special for me — because this High School graduate is my daughter.

We photographed her senior portraits right here in my Hoover, Alabama studio, while keeping things simple. As both a mom and a Birmingham, Alabama senior portrait photographer, I wanted her images to feel natural, confident, and truly her.

We used a clean white background, soft studio lighting, and very simple poses to let her personality lead the session. She wore timeless, uncomplicated clothing so nothing distracted from her expression or the season of life she’s stepping into. Sometimes the most powerful senior portraits are created when you strip everything back and focus on authenticity.
