Senior pictures in Birmingham, Alabama are such a special way to celebrate this milestone, and Reese’s senior photo session was no exception. As a senior at Briarwood Christian School, she wanted images that felt natural, relaxed, and true to who she is in this season of life. We chose Birmingham Botanical Gardens for her senior pictures, which offered beautiful natural light and a variety of backdrops that photographed so well.

Senior Pictures at Birmingham Botanical Gardens

The Botanical Gardens is one of my favorite spots for senior pictures in Birmingham, AL. The combination of open space, greenery, and soft light makes it perfect for high school senior photos. During Reese’s session, we moved around the location to create a mix of looks while keeping everything easy and comfortable.

Briarwood Christian School Senior

As a senior at Briarwood Christian School, Reese brought so much personality to her session. She planned 2 outfit changes, which allowed us to capture a variety of styles — from classic and timeless to fun and modern. Outfit changes are a great way to add variety to senior pictures and highlight different sides of a senior’s personality.

What to Expect From a Birmingham Senior Photo Shoot

Senior sessions include up to one hour of shooting time, giving plenty of time for outfit changes, movement, and a relaxed pace. My approach to senior photography focuses on natural posing and genuine moments, so seniors never feel stiff or overly posed.

After the session, seniors receive a private online gallery of fully edited images to download and keep. These images are perfect for announcements, albums, and sharing with family and friends.
